Climbing

For the 2024 Olympic Games, climbing events will take place August 5-9 at the Le Bourget venue, which is one of the few facilities to have been specifically built for the occasion. From Paris, you can quickly reach Le Bourget via the RER B, the RATP network or the Noctilien.

Skateboarding

Skateboarding emerged in the United States in the 1950s, at the height of surf culture. It quickly established itself as a young and spectacular sport, in line with the culture of the 1980s and its values of freedom, rebellion and adrenaline. This sport went mainstream in the early 2000s and has earned its rightful place among the Olympic Games.

Street skateboarding events will take place on July 27 and 28, and park skateboarding events are scheduled for August 6 and 7. These events will take place at Place de la Concorde in the 8th arrondissement.

Featuring acrobatics, floor tricks and the role of an emcee (DJ or MC), breakdancing is intrinsically associated with hip-hop culture. Today, breakdancing has earned a legitimate place at the Paris Olympic Games and will take place at the Place de la Concorde on August 9-10.

How to get tickets for the 2024 Olympic Games

As you well know, the Olympic Games of 2024 will be held from July 26 to August 11, with the Paralympic Games taking place from August 28 to September 8. Tickets can be reserved on the official Paris 2024 website: https://www.paris2024.org/en/tickets/. This is the one and only site where you can purchase tickets for the 2024 Olympic Games.

To ensure equal opportunities for all spectators, the organizing committee has set up a lottery system. After you register, two drawings will be held. If you're selected, you'll be given a time slot for purchasing your tickets. The steps are as follows:

End of 2022: Registering for the lottery
February 2023: Purchasing of ticket packages after the drawing
May 2023: Purchasing of single tickets after the drawing
End of 2023: Real-time ticket sales if tickets are still available after the two drawings

Approximately 10 million tickets will be on sale, so a large number of those registering can get seats.
